United States GDP

Stated from CIA-World Fact Book, “The US has the largest and most technologically powerful economy in the world, with a per capita GDP of $46,000. In this market-oriented economy, private individuals and business firms make most of the decisions, and the federal and state governments buy needed goods and services predominantly in the private marketplace.” (CIA-World Fact Book [CWFB], 2008, para. 5). However, there are continuing problems, “Long-term problems include inadequate investment in economic infrastructure, rapidly rising medical and pension costs of an aging population, sizable trade and budget deficits, and stagnation of family income in the lower economic groups. The merchandise trade deficit reached a record $847 billion in 2007. Together, these problems caused a marked reduction in the value and status of the dollar worldwide in 2007.” (CWFB, 2008, para. 5) The argument when introducing a new technological web based design service into a very competitive market can be devastating and lead to great losses. Our objective is to help low income businesses to do the following: (1) develop a user friendly website, (2) organize business communication to local and federal governments, and (3) network with local businesses and promote our customized business plan.

Nick Godt from Market-watch says, “April gold futures fell $25.30, or 2.7%, to end at $920 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange. On Wednesday, gold plummeted $59 as traders began selling most commodities, many of which had recently rallied to historic highs.” (Nick Godt, 2008, para. 1) The weakening of the US dollar has forced inflation up nearly 12 times in the past year. US consumers are spending their money on every day items, and shopping more wisely. As a new web design company with these increasing challenges, a more creative advertising solution is necessary for us to continue to grow. Trampeed Money will have to budget our income and be more cost effective.

Operating a small web design company in a recession has its benefits against competitors. Larger web design firms will have to make cut backs to minimize expense while we continue to grow and offer more affordable web design. We hope that offering more incentive programs, we will be able to increase our market share within the next six to eight months.

The New York Stock Exchange continues to rally sectors the sub-prime mortgage market and housing seems to be volatile, but trying to rally at the end of trading days.
